Supply Chain Diversity
Across the US, Fortune 1000 companies have expressed a desire and intent to invest in and do business with diverse and minority-owned business enterprises. But achieving these stated goals can be very difficult. For example, in 2020 corporations pledged over $50 billion to address social and economic inequities within their supply chains. By the end of 2021, less than $250 million (less than 1%) of this pledged capital had actually been deployed (i.e., been committed or invested to specific initiatives, entities, or corporate spend).
Because Bruell+Co works every day with MBE/WBEs, we are well-positioned to identify and match these companies with significant contract opportunities with large corporations. Likewise, we can assist corporate clients in developing, analyzing, and improving their purchasing policies, systems, and processes to better meet their supply chain diversity goals.
